Machine Operator, Wheelabrator Machine Operator with Forklift Experience - Hardware manufacturing company seeks 5 Experienced Wheelabrator Machine Operators with Forklift Experience to run machines and to keep in-process material flowing through the systems. You will work at their climate-controlled facility in Savanna, IL.
These are full-time, temp-to-hire positions where you will earn a competitive salary, based on your experience. There is an employee lunchroom that has a microwave, refrigerator, and vending machines for your use.
Your responsibilities will include:
Operating Wheelabrators and Shakers.
Dumping scraps into containers for pick up.
Operating a forklift in a safe manner, performing daily checks, and filling out reports.
Marking bins with the appropriate weight and piece count.
Checking the Wheelabrator for mechanical problems.
Loading and unloading trucks.
Moving in-process parts to the next operation.
Putting routing slips into bins.
To be considered you must have at least 1 year of experience operating a Wheelabrator and a forklift. You must also have a High School Diploma or GED and be able to do basic math.
